ABOUT EAST MIDLANDS WATER
East Midlands Water Company sell a variety of Water Treatment products such as Water Softeners.
They approached Loud Digital to help launch a new website & to create a Digital Marketing strategy to generate more sales & phone calls.
THE PROBLEM
Their current website wasn’t mobile friendly and was based on a bespoke system that was showing its age, which led to issues with usability and not being very mobile friendly.
THE SOLUTION
We re-platformed their website using Shopify to provide a much-improved back-end experience for the office staff, whilst also enhancing the user experience on the front end.
We had to manually create over 1,100 products as their bespoke system had no way of exporting data straight into Shopify. By utilising vLookups in Excel, we managed to speed up this process but it still took over 100 hours for the product import alone.
THE RESULTS
Their new website has massively improved bounce rate and conversion rates due to a much better mobile experience and with more users using mobile, it’s essential that the experience across all devices is exceptional.
